Elka Whalan to join ARN Newsroom as Rio 2016 commentator

Australian swimming championmultiple medalist and dual Olympian Elka Whalan will join the ARN news team as a commentator during the Olympic Games in August.
 
Elka’s outstanding swimming career saw her reach world #1 in her freestyle events, bringing home medals from the Olympics, World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
 
Sydney and Brisbane News Director for the KIIS and Pure Gold networks Deborah Clay believes Elka’s inspiring personality and significant sporting experience will resonate with listeners across the ARN news brands.
