No longer having a full time radio gig has freed Derryn Hinch up for acting rolls.

The Human Headline revealed to Merrick Watts today that he has just been filming a Bollywood movie.

On Triple M’s national drive show Merrick..and Australia, Hinch talked about the film, as well as chatting about the issues of the day.

Hinch told Watts:  “Yes, it’s true. It’s called ‘The Colour of Darkness’ and on Australia Day I spent the day in country Victoria, in Keilor, playing a corrupt opposition politician trying to plot the overthrow of the Victorian Government.”

Watts’ new show is breaking the stereotypes of duo presentations by getting different guests on to interact more like co-hosts then interview subjects. Hinch was the latest guest.
