Dean Lewis is set for the WFR

The World Famous Rooftop (WFR) is set to return later this month, with the Hit Network in partnership with Network Ten’s The Project bringing Aussie artist Dean Lewis to Melbourne for a live and exclusive performance.

The multi-platinum selling artist has received worldwide acclaim for his debut album ‘A Place We Knew’ and returns home for his national tour and to perform on the WFR.

His single ‘Stay Awake’ will be broadcast live from the WFR onto The Hit Network and during The Project on Monday April 29.

Dean says.  “I’m so excited to be coming home and performing on the World Famous Rooftop for the Hit Network. I’ll also be live on The Project right before hitting the stage. This is huge, it’s going to be so much fun,”.

The WFR has become infamous for its epic and intimate performances from some of the world’s best artists including iconic pop stars P!NK and Katy Perry, to Robbie Williams and Ed Sheeran, and most recently The Backstreet Boys in Las Vegas.

The Hit Network’s Head of Music, Irene Hulme says, From the moment we saw Dean singing Waves we were quick to realise what an extraordinary singer, song writer he is. Since then he’s given us four incredible songs that have connected so well with the Hit Network audience. We couldn’t be happier to see Dean take on the world with his music and his incredible performances on Ellen and Kimmel to name a few, and naturally we’re pretty excited that his next performance will be on home soil on the World Famous Rooftop.”

The Project’s Executive Producer, Craig Campbell says, “The Project is thrilled to be partnering with Dean and The Hit Network. We love Dean Lewis, we love Aussie music and we can’t wait to hit the World Famous Rooftop. We also can’t wait to see Pete Helliar live out his best back-up dancer fantasies.”
