Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’ rockets up 23 places

The Sydney songwriter this week’s biggest mover. 


It’s a battle of the Aussies this week with 5SOS leapfrogging Amy Shark to the No.1 spot in the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart. ‘Youngblood’ reigned with 786 spins across 24 stations, receiving the most spins from Hit92.9 Perth, accounting for 49 plays.

The biggest mover of the week also went to a local act, with Sydney songwriter Dean Lewis’ new release, ‘Be Alright’, skyrocketing 23 places to No.11. The track received airplay across 21 stations, with 2GO FM Central Coast, Gold 925 Gold Coast, Hot Tomato Gold Coast and KOFM Newcastle all adding the hit to their rotation in the last seven days.

Last week’s biggest mover, Panic! At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’ continued to rise gaining another 94 spins, landing at No.10. Martin Garrix and Khalid’s new offering ‘Ocean’ just made it in the chart, sharing No.39 with Jonas Blue and Jack & Jack’s ‘Rise’.

Kygo & Imagine Dragons’ collaboration, ‘Born To Be Yours’ was a new addition to the chart, moving to No.33 up 112 spins in its fourth week on air. Kygo’s other release with Miguel reached a new high point at No.5 with 635 spins. Miguel will be performing in Nova’s Red Room next Tuesday in Sydney.
