Hot 100 has taken out the first Darwin radio ratings survey for 2017, despite giving ground to stablemate Mix 104.9.
Hot 100 recorded an overall market share of 34.4% for the survey period, a near 12 percentage point lead over Mix, and more than double ABC Radio Darwin’s figure of 14.0%.
ABC Darwin lost 3.6 percentage points to 14.0% but remains in third place overall.
triple j held ground and remains in fourth place on 9.7%.
Hot 100 maintained its ascendency among the younger 10-39 demographic but fell second to Mix 104.9 in the 40-65+ age sectors.
Both Hot 100 and Mix 104.9 are owned by the Grant Broadcasters Network.
Darwin radio research was conducted by Xtra Insights from 21 August to 9 September 2017. The last survey was held in May 2016.
