Popular General Manager, David McDonald, who unexpectedly left Fairfax Radio Brisbane earlier this year has taken on a challenging new role.
 
Variety, The Children’s Charity Queensland, has announced that McDonald has been appointed as their new Chief Executive Officer.
 
On news of the announcement of his appointment, David said: “After many years of helping to make a positive difference to corporate bottom lines, I feel extremely honoured and privileged to be now in a position where I will be working with real people and real issues to help make a difference to many Queensland Children’s lives”.
 
David moves into the CEO’s chair next Monday, November 11.
