CSU commercial radio students visit ARN and 2UE

Second year students of the CRA sponsored Charles Sturt University Commercial Radio Degree visited ARN and Fairfax Media where they received presentations from senior staffers on producing relevant and applicable sales solutions for clients.

At ARN Sydney Sales Director Ben Gialourias also took the student on a station tour where Rosso told them “to be successful in this business you need enthusiasm dedication and persistence.”

At Fairfax Media Sales Director Tony Wilkinson also shared with students opportunities for the involvement of personalities and the power of the live read in campaign solutions. They also got to do some live reads of their own (pictured below) with the help of Dave Prior.

CSU commercial radio students  complete a three year degree which culminates in a 10 week internship placement with member stations.

Nine final year students are half way through their 2014 placements.
