Crowdfunding pays off for REDFM

After a lengthy crowd funding campaign, several rewrites and countless slices of bread and cheese it’s officially here…

Robbie & Adam’s Toasted Sandwich Tuesday Cookbook.

Launched during Robbie & Adam’s Big Breakfast across the RedFM network, the book was released in major towns throughout regional Western Australia including Karratha, Geraldton, Broome and Hedland using RedFM prize cars from each station.

The launch party continued in the studio with former My Kitchen Rules contestant Neville (Nev) Groves dropping by to deliver his creation he named “The Duck Nuts” filled with maple syrup, crispy bacon, a fried egg, onion rings and cheese.

Robbie Klitzing, one-half of The Big Breakfast, is still surprised that Toasted Sandwich Tuesday still remains a popular segment on the show.

“We had a great turnout at each location completely run out of books!” he said

“One thing that really struck us, no matter where we went in W.A. the appeal of toasties was universal.

” Everyone has their favourite recipe and it’s great that listeners and people like Nev want to share their secrets with us.”

Robbie & Adam’s are giving away copies of their new book to listeners who suggest their favourite toasted sandwich filling.
