Crocmedia’s driving ambition

Former touring car driver turned high-performance driver trainer, Matt MacKelden, and touring car driver and one-time V8 Supercar driver, Steve Johnson, have traded the race track for the airwaves to host Crocmedia’s brand new program The Driver’s Seat.

The weekly motorsport show presented by Kubota can be heard between 11am and midday on Sunday mornings across the Super Radio & Resonate Networks as well as 2QN Deniliquin, 3NE Wangaratta & 2AY Albury.

The show features weekly interviews with some of the biggest names in motorsport, as well as road safety tips and innovations, and a regular segment for vintage car and motoring enthusiasts.

Kubota’s GM of Sales and Marketing, Malcolm Owens, said their support of the program came from a desire to give back to the community.

“We noticed a large number of car accidents where our dealers operate and wanted to take an active role in reducing the numbers.

“The program provides a great platform to engage with the community regarding road safety in a fun and educational way,” Mr Owens said.

Crocmedia CEO Craig Hutchison said the company was excited to be adding another brand-funded program to its roster.

“We’re always looking for new ways to produce content that delivers for our clients whilst entertaining audiences and this show is a great example of both”, Hutchison said.

The Driver’s Seat is one of a growing stable of sport entertainment programs produced by Crocmedia, which includes the popular Off The Bench, Sportsday, SportZone, The Clubhouse, Great Australian Sporting Lives, Reel Adventures and The Sounding Board (podcast).
