Friday 15 February, 2019

The Super Rugby season has begun and Super Rugby Live will be there calling the action of Melbourne Rebels and NSW Waratahs home matches.

Crocmedia will create a new broadcast product, Super Rugby Live Radio, which will feature two sub-products, Rebels Radio and Waratahs Radio, to broadcast
home matches for each team throughout the 2019 Super Rugby season.

Retired rugby union footballer and coach Adam Freier will join Australian sports and travel presenter Will McCloy for the first ‘Waratahs Radio’ broadcast this Saturday night on the Super Radio Network, with ‘Rebels Radio’ making its debut on Friday March 1 on 1377 SEN+.

Super Rugby Live will cover all eight home matches for both teams.

Crocmedia Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Craig Hutchison thinks Super Rugby fans will be impressed with the new content in the 2019 season.

“We are thrilled to add Super Rugby to our radio line-up and innovate across Melbourne and NSW. Super Rugby is an exciting sport and fits perfectly into our whole of sport and live play-by-play agenda.”

Crocmedia will also provide live coverage of all domestic Qantas Wallabies Test matchesthis year.
