CMTO course applications are now open

The Community Media Training Organisation is seeking applications from community broadcasting stations for accredited and non-accredited (pathways) courses for 2016/17.

The application process has been streamlined to ensure that the CMTO can give quick responses to station’s requests for courses.

What do you need to do before applying?

Step One: Decide what CMTO courses you want/need.

Step Two: Advertise within the station to see how many people want to attend and get their details. (Courses which include people from the CBF’s priority groups for training – indigenous, ethnic and RPHA broadcasters have a better chance of being successful).

Step Three: Fill out the online form.

It’s estimated the application will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Make sure you let the key people in your station know that the online application process is open until mid-August, 2016 for courses which will be held between September, 2016 until July, 2017.

If you are not the person responsible for co-ordinating training at your station, please send it on to someone who is. don;t miss out on this great opportunity.

The online application can be found here.
