Changes at Nova Melbourne

With Kate Langbroek off on Maternity Leave, Gretel Killeen is filling in on Nova 100’s breakfast show.

Some other changes have also happened at the station since the last week’s survey result, where Nova slipped fractionally, down 0.4 to 10.4%. PD Dan Bradley told radioinfo how things are now sounding.

radioinfo: What does Gretal sound like?

Bradley: A fortnight in, Gretel’s sounding fantastic with Hughesy & Dave, we’re looking forward to Kate returning, but it’s great to have a fill-in of Gretel’s calibre.

radioinfo: Tell me about the changes to the daytime lineup.

Bradley: There have been a couple of changes to the lineup, our afternoon Jock Stuey Paton has decided to move his family back to the Gold Coast, so the lineup’s been slightly rejigged.

For the rest of the year, Melissa Femia moves from Late Nights
into Mornings, and Josh Kirby from Mornings into Afternoons.

radioinfo: Have you listened to the new Triple M programs yet, which are being shared with Sydney?

Bradley: Didn’t listen, so I don’t know if anything changed. However there’s nothing we can do about it, so there’s no point thinking about it, we’ll just make sure Hughesy Kate & Dave continue to deliver a very ‘Melbourne’ show on Nova.
