A service will be held this Friday. 

As reported earlier here on radioinfo, ABC journalist and world-renowned journalism trainer Jillian Hocking has passed away.

Jillian worked as a journalist at ABC Radio National, trained journalists at SBS, and was Head of Radio Broadcasting for the United Nations in Afghanistan.

She also trained journalists in eastern Europe and the Arab world, before returning to become a highly regarded journalism academic in Melbourne.

A service celebrating Jillian’s life will be held at 2.30pm Friday 17 November, at the Stratus Reflection Space, Bunurong Memorial Park, 790 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South.
