The Community Radio sector’s annual conference is being held at the end of November, with registrations and award entries are being taken now.

The conference, which begins Thursday 27 November and runs 4 days, will be held at the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Conference convenor Maureen O’Keeffe says: “To take advantage of the early bird registration prices you must register by no
later than 31 October. Registrations after this date
incur a non negotiable late fee of $50 per registration. Save your station money and register now. Travel subsidies are also available.”

Award entries must be posted by this Friday 24 October, with no extension possible. Full details are at the CBAA website (click below).

Conference highlights will include:

Youth sessions, a ‘Future Visions’ Plenary session, and many workshops for managers, programmers, novices, small stations and community TV amongst others.
