Carrie & Tommy confirmed for Drive on the Hit Network

The Hit Network today confirmed Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little will return in 2021 to the national drive shift from 3-6pm.

Carrie & Tommy kicked off in 2017 and the duo have gone on to be heard across an unrivalled 50 stations across Australia and 2021 will give those in their cars after 5pm the chance to now drive home with some Bickmore and Little mirth-making magic.

Head of the Hit Network, Gemma Fordham, said: “We are thrilled Carrie and Tommy are our national drive show for 2021. When you listen to Carrie and Tommy the most obvious and appealing thing is their genuine affection for each other. They are friends who enjoy opening up their mics to deliver a show that is full of life and charm, with just the right amount of provoking each other for the entertainment of others. We know our audience love the show and want more, they have proven to be a ratings success for us and the support from advertisers wanting to be part of the show is incredible. We are delighted to offer more of Carrie and Tommy in 2021.”

Carrie said, “2020 has been a strange old year but one of the greatest joys has been the chance to connect with our listeners and provide them with the opportunity for a couple of hours of escapism, great tunes and big laughs. We love that privilege and are really excited about returning in 2021 as the Hit Network’s drive show”

ommy added, “I am glad we are extending our show to 6pm because it means finally Dolly Parton can listen to us on her drive home from work”

Extending their show until 6pm will now cover for Hughesy and Ed who have moved onto breakfast at 2Day FM
