Canberra FM Radio gets a new look

Canberra FM Radio will rebrand Canberra’s MIX 106.3, integrating the look and feel of the station into Australian Radio Network’s national KIIS Network branding.

A joint venture between ARN and SCA, MIX 106.3’s adoption of the KIIS Network logo is part of the continued evolution of Canberra’s most popular radio station.

Of the rebrand Content Director, Rod Cuddihy says: “MIX 106.3 has been part of Canberra life since our inception as 106.3 KIX FM in 1988. As MIX 106.3 has grown alongside Canberra’s evolution into Australia’s most progressive and contemporary city, it only makes sense that our logo does the same.

“The essence of what listeners love about MIX 106.3 remains unchanged but the rebrand has given us an opportunity to look at everything we do with a fresh approach and in so doing continue to create a station specifically for Canberra that is genuine, fun and celebrates everything that Canberran’s love about this incredible city.”

GM Craig Wagstaff says: “This evolution with the new look and feel for the MIX 106.3 brand is certainly exciting for all of us at the station and something we hope that our audience and commercial partners will also like.”
