Leading into the Caloundra Music Festival, 92.7 Mix FM put the call out for listeners to win a Meet and Greet with the one and only Ronan Keating.
Listeners were asked, Could You Say Nothing At All for Ronan?
The challenge has been set and 5 lucky listeners will tomorrow be locked in the 92.7 Mix FM Ronan Room from 6am to 5pm in an attempt to be the last one standing.
The catch? They must say nothing at all, not one peep!
Breakfast duo, Mark and Caroline, who devised the unusual competition say they were very surprised at the response. ‘‘We’re amazed how many people wanted to play – people sure love their Ronan. I was trying to convince Mark to get involved but he wouldn’t be in it,’ said Caroline.
Mark said, “Some people think radio competitions are a little cruel and unusual. For me, they’re just very very funny.’
92.7 Mix FM Marketing & Promotions Director, Brooke Bennett says, ‘Participants will be fed and watered, with appropriate toilet breaks, but they will be not allowed to say a single word and must participate in the challenges set by the announcers throughout the day. The whole thing will be broadcast via Facebook Live’.
