Campbell McNolty steps down as General Manager of SYN Media

SYN Media’s General Manager, Campbell McNolty, will be stepping down in late March 2020.

Campbell is a lifelong lover of community radio and has worked at SYN in various roles for more than five years, taking on the role of GM in June 2018 and has since overseen SYN’s relocation to a new studio and office space and expanded SYN’s social enterprise arm, SYN Media Learning, and delivered a transition to a simulcast broadcast format.

SYN is absolutely unique in its commitment to elevating young voices and trusting young people with responsibility. I’m grateful to all the staff and volunteers who I have worked with over the past five years. Thank you for making SYN the very best place to work.”

SYN President, Eleanor Doran extended high praise on behalf of the Board for Campbell’s leadership. “Campbell has safely ushered SYN into a new era of opportunity,” said Eleanor, “Campbell managed SYN’s historic move from Cardigan Street to our new accessible space in the Melbourne CBD with exceptional grace. He leaves behind a strong organisation, ready for the next chapter in amplifying young voices.”
