Cactus overtakes Blue Hills as Australia’s longest running radio series

How Green was My Cactus this week became the longest running series in Australian Radio history, taking over the mantle held by the ABC’s Blue Hills.

Two voice impressionists, Keith Scott and Robyn Moore (below), perform every character in the show. See our earlier reports on this long lasting series here and here.

As part of the celebration of Cactus becoming the longest running series, Grace Gibson Productions has re-released, for the first time on CD, the original ‘Cactus Cassettes’ releases. There are 5 in all: Cactus Pieces, Cactus Slices, The Cactus Chronicle, King Bonza Rides Again and Cactus Goes Bananas.

These are for personal collectors – i.e. strictly NOT for broadcast. The episodes are available through Grace Gibson’s online retail store http://www.gracegibsonradio.com
