C91.3fm welcomes Stuart Cranney back for breakfast

C91.3FM has welcomed back Stuart Cranney to the air waves as host of Stuart Cranney’s Macarthur Breakfast from 5.30am to 10am weekdays, three years after making him redundant in 2008.

Cranney has been a fixture on Sydney Radio for over 35 years debuting in 1975 on Double Jay (AM), before beginning a mammoth 17 year run at Triple M. In 2001 he decided to call Campbelltown home and took up the “Morning” microphone on C91.3FM. He was made redundant by the station management in 2008 in the face of station restructuring.

Now a proud local, Cranney considers his breakfast program a showcase for the diverse lifestyles of Macarthur; “We all live here and that’s to be celebrated.” Apart from extending each of the on air shifts to four hours (four and a half for the Breakfast Show), C91.3FM also welcomes Jason Bouman to the Afternoon time slot, weekdays from 2pm – 6pm. Jason made his mark in radio by partnering up with Sammy Power in the MIX106.5 Breakfast Show in 2001 and is currently the traffic reporter on Channel 9’s Today Show.

WIN Radio General Manager, Jason Saladino has told radioinfo: I am especially thrilled to welcome Stuart Cranney back to the station. With Stuart and Jason joining the team in 2011 and strong local content throughout the entire day well into the evening, I am confident C91.3FM will reflect a fresh focus and emphasis on the Macarthur area.”

C91.3FM’s 2011 weekday on air line up is:

5.30am – 10am: Stuart Cranney’s Macarthur Breakfast

10am – 2pm: Rob Doorey (currently on annual leave until May)

2pm – 6pm: Jason Bouman

6pm – 10pm: Lyndal Rogers
