Mega music star Justin BIEBER performed on The Hit Network’s World Famous Rooftop for 350 exclusive guests in Melbourne yesterday afternoon. 

Tomorrow, KIIS fans in Sydney won’t be so lucky. They’ll have to get up pretty early in the morning if they want to see him perform. In fact, they’ll have to be there by 6:20 am or miss the boat.

But that’s tomorrow. Yesterday, BIEBER’S first LIVE performance since touching down in Australia was at a much more civilised time. And who should be there to greet him:  Hamish & Andy, of course.

The Canadian, Singer Songwriter played five acoustic songs for an intimate legion of followers. 

Southern Cross Austereo, Executive Director Metro Operations, Guy Dobson said, “hosting big events for our fans is all part of the DNA of the Hit Network. The World Famous Rooftop events stand long and proud as the leading party in this space!”

Security had to be beefed up with crowds gathering outside the Fox FM studios from the early hours. 

Immediately following the rooftop performance The Hit Network’s Shazam Top 20 nightly countdown  with Angus O’Loughlin and Ash London got the chance to chat to the singer face to face. The interview was played from 7pm last night  across The Hit Network.
