Bud Light campaign creator at National Radio Conference

John Immesoete, the creator of one of the most awarded international advertising campaigns will speak at next month’s National Radio Conference.

Commercial Radio Australia has invited Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director of DDB Chicago, John Immesoete to this year’s National Radio Conference in Sydney on October 17.

The Bud Light Campaign is one of the most awarded international campaigns of recent times and you have the opportunity to hear about the campaign, the brief and background, the journey of the campaign to date and where it goes next.

As Senior Vice-President and Group Creative Director at DDB Chicago, Immesoete oversees work for McDonald’s Corp. and Anheuser-Busch Cos.

Earlier this year his creative team won its second straight Radio-Mercury Award for its Bud Light “Heroes” radio campaign, which sardonically salutes America’s obscure heroes, like “Mr. Jelly Doughnut Filler” and “Mr. Putt Putt Golf Course Designer.”

Since 2000, some of the other awards won to date include:

ANDY Awards, British D & AD, London International Advertising Awards, Kinsale International Film Festival of Ireland, Radio-Mercury Awards, The New York Festivals, 6th District AAF ADDYs, British Food and Beverage Awards, Cannes, Chicago International Television Awards, 81st Art Directors Club of New York, Pinnacles and American CLIO Awards to name but a few.

Commercial Radio Australia is offering the opportunity for 9 creative ‘Genius’ to join John on his table at the Charity Luncheon, included in the Conference ticket price. The first 9 bookings from the ‘Creative’ field will be given that opportunity.
