Broadcast Asia Conference much bigger this year

Visitors attending BroadcastAsia2004 can expect to see ‘best-of-breed’ solutions from 860 exhibiting companies from 44 countries at the Singapore Expo from 15-18 June.

The show has grown in terms of participation since it had to be cancelled last time around because of the Asian Bird Flu and international terrorism.

Organiser, Singapore Exhibition Services, expects 12,000 international trade visitors from 62 countries this year.

As companies in the broadcast industry invest in upgrading their infrastructure with digital technologies, and more and more content is produced in digital format, managing media assets and content effectively becomes even more fundamental. Exhibitors and conference delegates will be discussing this trend throughout the conference.

Some highlights of the conference for radio people include:

ICON will be officially launched in Asia during BroadcastAsia.
