Bob Rogers is back onair at 2CH

Bob Rogers has returned to the microphone only six weeks after suffering a stroke on-air.

The 91-year old who began his radio career as a panel operator in 1942, resumed his seat at the Bob Rogers Show on 2CH for his 21st year at the station and was welcomed back by Ray Hadley who said, “We love you dearly, we love the fact you’re back on air and I think Australian radio is much richer for you being back on deck today.”

Bob told Ray that, “My heads alright, I do forget a few things, but my body is buggered”

The pair reminisced about Bob’s career, their thoughts of 2UE and how a mutual mate, John Singleton, once got Bob fired.
