Big moves at RG Capital stations

RG Capital’s Group Program Director Rod Brice has announced a number of moves in the Programming area of the RG Capital Radio Network, which will be put into place over the next four weeks.

Following the recent restructure of the Gold Coast Radio Centre with Ross Turner as Program Director of 90.9 SEA-FM & 92.5 GOLD-FM, Tim Lordon Joins 90.9 SEA FM Gold Coast from 99.5 SEA-FM Cairns as Assistant Program Director. Lordon was Program Director of 99.5 SEA-FM Cairns for the past two years and Music Director of 101.3 SEA-FM Central Coast prior to that.

Kieron Atkinson has been promoted to Assistant Program Director 92.5 GOLD FM Gold Coast from 90.9 SEA-FM Gold Coast. He has been with the group in Music Director and Programming rolls for the past seven years.

Adam Barrett has been appointed as Music Director of 90.9 SEA-FM Gold Coast where he currently does drive. He was previously MD and Drive announcer of 100.7 SEA-FM Townsville.

In Cairns following the departure of Tim Lordon, Chris Ivors will join 99.5 SEA-FM Cairns from 98.7 SEA FM Mackay and Whitsundays as Program Director. He has been with the RG Capital Group for 12 months in a Program Director capacity. Previously Ivors was at MMM Adelaide.

In Mackay Brice has appointed Greg Clark, currently Program Director of NEW-FM Newcastle, to the role of Program Director 98.7 SEA-FM Mackay & the Whitsundays.

In Rockhampton, following the departure of PD Luke Wallis to MCM in Melbourne, RG Capital has appointed 101.5 & 95.1 SEA-FM breakfast personality Aaron Stevens to the roll of Program Director of 101.5 & 95.1SEA-FM and 4RO Rockhampton, Gladstone and Capricorn Coast. He will maintain his on-air roll. Ryan Rathbone has been appointed as Afternoon Drive Announcer of 101.5 & 95.1 SEA-FM Rockhampton, Gladstone & Capricorn Coast. Rathbone comes from SNOW FM Cooma where he recently won a Raward for Best Program Director (Country).
