Big dollars raised for local hospital

Donations from across the weekend have been counted and today the amount raised in the mix94.5 Kids Appeal with Telethon was $446,229.
 
In two years the appeal has now raised $1,026,229 for the kids of Princess Margaret Hospital.
 
We’ve been able to purchase 71 pieces of new equipment which includes:
 
–       10x Auto CPAP Machines ($15,000)
–       1x Suresmile System ($150,000)
–       6x Baby Hippy Dolls ($6,756)
–       3x Sensit Chairs ($5,571)
–       1x Sensory Room fit out ($25,000)
–       1x Cough Machine ($10,000)
–       4x Oximeters ($2000 each)
–       4x LED Headlights ($22,028)
–       1x Stellar ($9,900)
–       1x Megadyne Electrical Mat ($4,500)
–       1x Endoscope ($28,800)
–       1x Wireless Ultrasound ($40,000)
–       1x IV Portable Ultrasound ($50,000)
–       10x CPAP Machines ($10,000)
–       5x Stellars ($49,500)
–       20x Weighted blankets for Mental Health ($8000)
–       1 x Megadyne Electrosurgical Mat ($4500)
 
mix94.5 also held two huge events which contributed to the fundraising.
 
mix94.5’s Bring Back the Good Times 80s night with the Community Newspaper Group at Capitol raised $30, 750.
 
The Dead Set Legends’ Sports Star Lunch at Mosmans Restaurant raised $22, 650.
