Big changes in Port Lincoln radio for 2019

Wednesday 16 January, 2019

Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters, part of the Grant Broadcasters Network, encompassing Magic 899 and 765-5CC - based in the Seafood Capital of Australia, Port Lincoln - has several line-up changes heading into 2019.

In a series of moves that resemble the last day of AFL trade week, Ben Cunningham has moved across from Magic FM 105.9 on the Spencer Gulf to assume the Program Directors position, Dee Alonso McLeod is their newly appointed Journalist-Newsreader, with current Newsreader-Journalist Jason Regan moving into the role of Copywriter and 5CC Breakfast Host.

This has seen Magic 899 Breakfast host Simon Gale move from Copy to Production after Brett Prince departed Port Lincoln for Launceston to continue with Grant Broadcasters at LAFM as their Commercial Producer.

Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters General Manager, Darren Allard, says "Although the reshuffle presents its challenges, it has also re-invigorated the entire station, especially with Ben Cunningham joining the team as Program Director and bringing a lot of energy - A LOT OF ENERGY!! We look forward to 2019, its challenges and continuing to be an integral part of the Eyre Peninsula community".
