Bernie says “Triple M is where I first started my radio career, if you call it a career, back in Adelaide in the early days. I always had a lot of fun with Roo and Ditts and then when I came to Melbourne, I spent a bit of time with JB and Billy as well.

“It’s a very funny and entertaining team, so if I can play some small roll in entertaining people then I’ll be happy. I’m probably looking forward to working with Billy the most! But I also owe a lot to JB, he gave me a start on both Triple M and Channel 9. He backed me in and now here I am, I can’t wait!”

Triple M’s AFL Content Director, Ewan Giles says“Triple M Footy has always been the call the players listen to. We love bringing in new talent and developing the next generation of great footy callers. Recently retired players like Bernie bring an insight to the modern game that few can match.”

Triple M Footy kicks off for 2019 tonight with Richmond v Carlton live from the MCG.
