50 years in radio is a milestone, but 50 years at the same station is a rare milestone, one reached today by 2LT’s Barbara Orr.
 
Barbara joined the station 50 years ago today in the initial role of ‘record library assistant’ and today she fills the role of office manager, a position she has held for approximately 30 years.
 
Barb’s 50 years’ service at the station has been without a break, stopping only for annual leave and some long service leave.
 
On behalf of all staff, both past and present, congratulations Barb on achieving this milestone.
