Baby Boom for Gen X broadcasters

Nova 100’s Kate Langbroek just had her fourth in Melbourne while 5MMM’s Ali Carle will have her first sometime around Christmas in Adelaide. We’re talking babies, of course.

Kate had a boy Jan Allen Langbroek Lewis, named after her father. Mum is doing well.

Co-host Hughesy said, “It’s brilliant news. She’s got the whole set now. Tomorrow I’m driving her husband to the snip centre.”

Comedian Mick Molloy is keeping Kate’s seat warm while she is away – which is not expected to be long.

You can keep up with news and pics of Kate and Jan’s progress on the Nova 100 website.

Over in Adelaide at 5MMM, Ali’s co-host blokes Kym and Dzelde were apparently clueless as to her condition till she spilt the beans last Friday saying, “It’s such a relief I can now tell you all because I stink at keeping secrets…

Superbaby (yes I know we’re putting a lot of pressure on the little bugga already) is due over the Christmas holidays, and since he or she has been a long time coming, we feel very blessed. The boss is pretty happy too as he reckons I don’t have to miss any work,“ says Ali.
