B105 sends in the stand-in Dads for Fathers Day

In a desperate bid to disrupt Fathers Day for one “lucky” Brisbane family, B105’s Labby and Stav are taking over the fathering duties of the Dad, for a week.

Keri & David Campbell from Upper Mt Gravatt have three beautiful boys Max 11, Gus 9 and Will 6. They have a dog that jumped off the trampoline, broke its leg and now has to wear a plastic cone, a crab hamster, and a turtle. But for better, or more likely worse, things for this happy little family are about to change.

Exit real Dad and enter Stav and Labby… for B105’s Stand in Dads.

Just in time for Father’s Day (September 5 for those scratching their heads) B105’s Labby and Stav are this week alleviating this deserving papa of his fatherly responsibilities for the whole week, attempting to do all the things David Campbell used to do. Along with Camilla, the Stand in Dads are broadcasting live from the Campbell household all this week, with Labby and Stav alternating Dad duties daily to ensure the kids are getting fed and driven to school … even during the show.

Real Dad will be shipped off to a hotel; Stand in Dad Labby will cooking dinner for the children described only by their mother as “crazy”. Real Dad will be watching in-house movies; Stand in Dad Stav will be bringing his “wife” her regular 6am cup of freshly brewed tea in bed and making school lunches. Real Dad will be kicking back on a school night; Stand in Dad’s will driving Max to band practice, picking up Gus and Will from St Agnes and supervising reading between 7.30pm and 8pm every night.

The Campbell family will never be the same.
