Austereo appoints new management team members

Austereo has announced further changes to its senior management “as part of a move to reinforce and strengthen the company’s position as Australia’s leading network”.

The appointments come at the same time as other recent changes, including
Michael Anderson being appointed as Chief Operating Officer earlier this month and Helen Davies as Group Promotions Director late last week.

Grant Tothill – Triple M Network Program Director

Grant Tothill, currently Program Director of Triple M Melbourne, will take up the key position
of Triple M Network Program Director for Austereo.

The new role will allow Tothill to oversee the programming of the entire Triple M network
while maintaining a station based operational role as program director of Triple M Melbourne.

“Grant Tothill is one of Austereo’s most experienced programmers and his principal function
will be to build a strategy to recreate the icon that is Triple M,” said Jeff Allis, Group Program
Director, Austereo.

“In his new role, one of his first initiatives will be to launch new Drive shows for both Sydney and Melbourne.”

The Triple M program management structure will mirror that of the Today network where
Brian Ford has responsibility for the network and Fox FM.
Tothill says he relishes the network challenge the new position offers while continuing his
local role with Triple M in Melbourne.

Kathy Gramp – Chief Financial Officer

Austereo has promoted Kathy Gramp to Chief Financial Officer, responsible for planning and
controlling the financial success of the company.

Having started with Austereo in 1989 as Assistant Group Financial Controller, she has
taken on a number of roles within Group Finance, most recently as Group General Manager
– Finance in which Kathy took on increasing responsibilities as part of the senior executive
team.

Austereo’s Chief Operating Officer, Michael Anderson, said Gramp has made an exceptional
contribution to Austereo. She has been involved in two public listings of the company as well
as numerous other projects that have been instrumental to Austereo’s ongoing success.
Gramp said she was delighted with her promotion and welcomes the challenges and
responsibilities this role presents.

Chris Parker – Director of Sales, Sydney

Chris Parker has been appointed Austereo’s Director of Sales – Sydney, as part of the
current management restructure within the Austereo group.

The position has been newly created to allow Parker to oversee both the Agency and direct
sales operations in Sydney. The main focus of the role is to ensure smooth communication
and maximise resource allocations to meet the needs of both Agency and Direct clients.

“Chris’ new role is important in ensuring that every client serviced by the Sydney sales
operation experiences the same high level of service and professionalism expected of
Austereo,” said Gary Pert, National Sales Director, Austereo.

“Chris has been with Austereo for 11 years. In that time he has worked in a range of sales
roles, including most recently as Director of Agency Sales, Sydney. Chris’ experience,
commitment to Austereo and his passion for radio makes him an ideal choice for this new
position.”

Parker said he was looking forward to his new role as he sees the huge benefits of a more coordinated sales operation for both staff and clients alike.
