Audio at Altitude as Toowoomba raises a glass to SCA

SCA Toowoomba celebrated 100 years of radio when it hosted ‘Audio at Altitude’, a gathering of 100 invited guests last night at the home of HIT Toowoomba and Triple M 864 Darling Downs.

Guests were entertained, taken on tours of the studios, shown behind the scenes and enjoyed the hospitality with cheese, charcuterie and dessert stations and roving canapes featuring local produce.

Triple M Toowoomba breakfast host Lee Faulkner hosted the evening, and Mayor Paul Antonio spoke about the almost-100-year history the city has with radio, and in particular SCA.

Hamish & Paris from sister station HIT Toowoomba also starred at the event, together with Nick Purdie, Station General Manager.

While the welcome and the flavours were fiercely local, the message was clearly one of national support for both stations from SCA, as the company moves forward as the largest audio provider in the Southern Hemisphere, and continues to invest in regional centres like Toowoomba.
