Ariana Grande moves into position, debuting at No.24: AirCheck

 Ariana Grande delivered new music to the airwaves last week with ‘Positions’. The track debuted at No.24 on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, earning 288 spins across 17 stations. The Nova network was quick to support the track, putting it on high rotation, averaging 38 spins per station. The release earned adds from the KIIS and Hit networks, as well as 973 Brisbane and the Edge Sydney.

Joel Corry was knocked off the top spot this week by Jason Derulo’s ‘Take You Dancing’. The KIIS and Nova networks pushed the track into No.1, adding an extra 10 spins for the track this week across all stations.

Sigala and James Arthur’s ‘Lasting Lover’ moved inside the Top 10 as airplay increased by 91 instances. KIIS Melbourne made the biggest change in airplay this week, moving from 6 spins last week to 25 this week.

Harry Styles earned the highest gain this week, with airplay for ‘Golden’ up by 115.6% in its fifth week since release. KIIS in Sydney and Melbourne began spinning the track last week but it was the Nova network that drove the track up the chart increasing airplay by 250% from 12 spins per station to 29 this week.
