AirCheck looks at the crossover tracks in Adelaide and Perth

With the release of Survey 1 figures yesterday, AirCheck has analysed the crossovers of Adelaide and Perth radio stations.

In Adelaide Hit107 and Nova919 shared a quarter of their playlists while Hit spun a greater variety of tracks. Ava Max’s ‘Sweet But Psycho’ was played the most over the two CHR stations, heard 460 times during the six week period.

Mix102.3 was the big winner yesterday but held only a 13.6% crossover with Triple M. Aussie Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’ was the most common track with 182 spins during this time.

Hit and Nova had a much higher crossover in Perth with 40.8% of songs heard on both stations. In this breakdown, Miley Cyrus & Mark Ronson’s ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ was the most played track, with 485 instances, which comes as no surprise with the hit topping our National Radio Airplay chart last week.

Nova93.7 and Mix 94.5 had the lowest crossover at 12.9% although they were neck-and-neck in the ratings yesterday. Mix94.5 also played the widest variety of all stations analysed.

Finally, Mix94.5 and 96FM had the second highest crossover, sharing 39.7% of their playlists. Walk The Moon’s ‘Shut Up & Dance’ garnered the most spins across the stations with 76 spins.
