Confirmed for an initial three years, the award will support one talented graduate of the AFTRS’ Graduate Diploma in Radio course, who will be given six weeks, full time, paid employment at a regional radio station.

The award is open to on-air and off-air radio and podcasting roles and the recipient will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience with an SCA station or affiliate and is part of Hubble, SCA’s talent development unit which formalises the discovery and cultivation of new broadcast talent.

Head of Talent Development at SCA, Adrian Brine, says “We are thrilled to open up this development opportunity through Hubble. The calibre of AFTRS radio graduates is the best in the country and this internship should provide a mutual learning experience that will no doubt benefit both parties.”
