The ‘Ring of Steel’ around Melbourne will be lifted this weekend, with Melburnians once again allowed to leave the capital city to visit regional Victoria.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said regional Victorians want the visitors back as corona virus cases diminish.
“There are many, many people that desperately want to see the people they love the most and then there’s lots of other reasons, employment reasons, economic reason… We want those regional tourism businesses to have bookings.”
The team at Ace Radio agrees, with network breakfast presenters Gabi and Dan releasing a little song to celebrate.
After listening to the song, we can’t decide if it will welcome visitors back, or instead be another reason for them to stay away 🙂
