ACE Radio content management shake up

ACE Radio has announced a restructure to its content management, designed to bring all content under the one umbrella. 

Grant Johnstone will take on the newly created role of ACE Radio Head of Content, effective immediately. He will be  responsible for all radio & digital content, marketing and promotions for ACE Radio.

Johnstone has nearly 30 years experience in the industry, most of this time involved in programming, and has been with ACE Radio since 1994.For the past ten years Johnstone has been overseeing the growth and development of ACE Radio’s Digital assets and with the level of convergence occurring through the industry the addition of the radio portion of the business made strategic sense.

As well as continuing his current role as General Manager of ACE Radio’s Gippsland based TRFM & GOLD 1242 he will be responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of ACE Radio’s content and talent development.

To support Johnstone in his expanded role, ACE also announced the following changes:

Mat Cummins has been promoted to Group Content Director – Radio.

Jon Vertigan will work closely with Mat as Asst Group Content Director – Radio.

Ant Middlemiss will become Group Content Director – Digital, and will continue to oversee all digital content and corporate image.

Lauren Buckley, as Group Promotions Director, will work with Grant on group promotional tactics, compliance and implementation.
