ABC announces Tamworth Country Music Festival partnership

The ABC has announced a new broadcast partnership with the 46th Tamworth Country Music Festival (Jan 19-28) which kicks off today, showcasing the best in Australian country talent and with the support of local stations. 

The arrangement includes Landline‘s Facebook Livestream of the Golden Guitar Awards, including red-carpet arrivals, plus Awards highlights on ABC TV and ABC iview; daily radio broadcasts LIVE from the heart of the Tamworth Country Music Festival and a LIVE broadcast of the popular Australia All Over and Saturday Night Country programs.

The Tamworth Country Music Festival is held from Friday 19 to Sunday 28 January 2018 with the 46th Golden Guitar Awards on Saturday 27 January 2018 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre. 

Fans who can’t make it to Tamworth can catch all the action from the Golden Guitar Awards live via the ABC Landline Facebook page.

Other networks getting in on the country action this weekend include Kix Radio Network, broadcasting live from Tamworth for the festival, with prizes and live performances; and Power 94.9 FM with a road-trip giveaway including two return flights from Sydney to Tamworth, tickets to Guy Sebastian, Troy Cassar-Daley, and free camping and accommodation at the Moogee Camping Ground. 

Over ten days, 700 performers will play over 2800 shows over multiple venues
