Over the past few months, 97.3FM’s Robin, Terry & Bob have been compiling a COVID-19 time capsule that captures this unique time in history.
With the help of listeners and famous faces including Guy Sebastian, Aussie legend Wally Lewis, and boxer Jeff Horn, they now have 25 items which will be exhibited at the Museum of Brisbane, before being locked away for 20 years.
Items inside the time capsule include a Queensland Border Pass, playground notices, a photo of Brisbane airport’s runway, and a golden toilet roll! Click here to view the full list of items.
Robin Bailey said: “We do lots of things on the brekkie show but very rarely are they as important as the time capsule is proving to be. Our listeners provided snapshots into their lives during COVID 19, and this has now become a historical document marking this time.”
The curated section of objects from the time capsule, including a Covid mask covered teddy bear and a Border Entry pass, will be on display at the Museum of Brisbane from 22 July – 6 September.
