95.3 Triple M raises over $160,000

After raising more than $160,000 in 2018, 95.3 Triple M has already begun preparation for Give Me 5 for Kids 2019, with an audacious goal to make it the biggest and best year yet.

General Manager Steve Hetherton says, “We are incredibly proud of the Shepperton community for this year’s stellar result which will enable Goulburn Valley Health to continue supporting local children in hospital.”

GV Health Foundation Director, Carmel Johnson, says, ”We are overwhelmed by this astonishing result. Money raised will allow us to purchase equipment for our Child & Adolescent Unit and Special Care Nursery such as new paediatric beds and cots, as well as a state of the art isolette for our premmie babies.”

Give Me 5 for Kids 2019 will power ahead without much-loved local Paul Archer who has worked tirelessly over the past six years, generating hundreds of thousands for the GM5FK intuitive through his annual Battery Drive.

Steve Hetherton says, “Paul is taking a well-deserved break from Give Me 5 for Kids this year after many years of being a key contributor. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for his incredible work which has had an enormous impact on the lives of sick local children”.

In Paul’s absence, 95.3 Triple M is working hard on a series of new and existing tactics, setting the benchmark high for 2019 and once again looking for support form the local community.

Locals can look forward to Trivia at the Aussie Hotel, Lisa’s Plant Sale and the IGA Market Day continuing, as well as new events including Business Breakfast at the Parklake Hotel, Girls Night Out at Shepparton Greyhound Association and the All Australian Mower Racing Titles.
