In his time in Bundaberg, 4BU Announcer Billy Healey has given no shortage of free plugs to local business, community groups and events, especially recently while the region has been recovering from this year’s floods and tornadoes
 
In return for his hard work and commitment, the Bundaberg and District Chamber of Commerce returned the favour, giving Billy his own “Free Plug” In the shape of the Presidents Award at the Chamber’s Business Excellent Awards night last Saturday. The award included a trophy – and a plug on a chain.
 
Chamber President Yale Morgan said the Award was well deserved.

” Based on the last 12 months, particularly after the floods, Billy, along with Bundaberg Broadcasters, has worked tirelessly on community support plus contributing to the greater business community.”
