2WEB to launch new morning show

Outback Radio 2WEB is launching a new show Outback Mornings, taking over the satellite feed from 2UE since 1996, when John Laws had the shift. In a world where syndicated regional radio seems to be the norm, 2WEB believe it will provide a serious local alternative.

The 9am-12pm programme will be presented by Neil Campbell, who currently hosts Sunday lunch between 10-2pm, and produced by Tim Bennett. Outback Mornings will cover national and regional news stories, as well as news and stories from the local districts within the listening area, which is no small feat, considering 2WEB’s broadcast region includes around 20% of New South Wales, over 130,000 square kilometres.

A community broadcaster since 1978, 2WEB has a long history in the New South Wales far west, and looks forward to better representing it’s listenership through Outback Mornings, live on 585AM or streaming here.
