2UE's Summer line-up celebrates stars and sport

Angela Bishop and Bill Woods will host 2UE Breakfast over summer

Macquarie Media’s Sydney News Talk station 2UE has today announced its summer line-up.

Hosting 2UE Breakfast from next Monday, 14 December, are Bill Woods and Angela Bishop.
A former Network Ten news and sports presenter, Woods has been a regular guest host on various 2UE programs over the past two years.
Bishop is Network Ten’s long-standing entertainment reporter and, as a frequent fill-in presenter over the past decade, also a familiar voice on 2UE.
As colleagues at Ten, Woods and Bishop know each other well and have decades of experience covering major international and local events. They will host the Breakfast program for John Stanley and Garry Linnell over the summer period.
Taking the mic from 10am-2pm weekdays is 2UE Weekend Afternoons presenter Tim Webster, with Australia Overnight’s Luke Bona on air from 2pm-6pm.
From Thursday, 2UE will feature Macquarie Radio’s Summer of Cricket broadcasts, beginning with the first Test between Australia and the West Indies live from Hobart.
2UE will also broadcast ball-by-ball commentary of the Boxing Day and New Year’s Tests, plus all One Day International and Twenty20 fixtures. The station will also broadcast every Big Bash League game featuring the Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder. The commentary team will include Ian Chappell, Greg MatthewsDamien FlemingDean JonesBruce Eva and Tim Lane.
“2UE is bringing its listeners the best of our Sydney summer, with a mix of the most trusted news, sport, and information with entertainment and lively discussion,” 2UE Program Manager Clinton Maynard said. 
“With highly experienced and entertaining presenters, and the most comprehensive cricket coverage of any radio station, 2UE’s audience won’t miss a beat.”
