2RE takes its Panel to Parliament House

Becomes the first regional station to broadcast live from NSW legislature

Last thursday 2RE, Taree broadcast their radio show ‘THE PANEL ” live from the Macquarie Room
in Parliament House, Sydney.

The Panel Host, Craig Huth says, “We were told from the Premier that we are the first regional radio station to broadcast our show live from within parliament house Sydney, so I guess we made a little history there that day which was great and had a chance to ask the hard questions to seven ministers, and the Premier Barry O’Farrell.”

It was a great success with the Premier announcing a Community Cabinet for Taree in May, more funding for seniors’ concerts next year and Duncan Gay the Roads Minister said he will look at the lakes highway again with local member Steven Bromhead MP.

Huth wanted to give, “A big thankyou to David West, Katherine Bell and the girls from Loretto College for the great work and questions to all Ministers and the Premier.”
