2NSB appoints two new directors

Community radio station 2NSB FM 99.3 has appointed Amanda Robertson and Chris Tweedie as directors.

This follows a resolution at the Annual General Meeting last year to increase the station’s Board from seven to nine directors, a move which required the ratification of the Registrar of Co-operatives.

Robertson has a background in human resource management, runs her own consulting business and is a former Director of Human Resources for Ord Mvarchar(15)t.

Tweedie is a former ABC radio journalist, who is now a public relations executive.

The two join a 2NSB Board of Chairman Allen Morley, John Pope, Don Keady, John Maizels, Barbara McCarthy, Georgina Reed and Dennis Rutzou.

In welcoming the new directors, Chairman Mr Allen Morley said they are “people with outstanding skills who will be able to make a considerable contribution to the on-going development of the station.”

“We are a radio station of more than eighty volunteers who share a passion for community radio and want to strive to achieve a standard of excellence.

“This not only includes the quality of the programming for our ever growing band of dedicated and devoted listeners, but in everything we do,” said Morley.
