Many Big Brother housemates look for on-air jobs in Radio to take advantage of their high public profile and personality.
This year’s winner Tim Dormer, doesn’t have to worry about that – as he was already in radio before he went into the house.
Dormer, who has always been very popular with colleagues and the life of the party (reference a certain stunt on Rhianna’s plane a while back), was working in a reasonably minor role with Nova before entering the competition.
We suspect that might change.
Now he’s out of the Big Brother house, it’s expected that Content Directors will be lining up with offers for Tim to get him on-air. There are plenty of vacancies around major markets at the moment, so he should be able to negotiate himself a very lucrative deal.
Combine that with the $250,000 Big Brother payoff and there’s no doubt 2014 will be a big year for Tim Dormer.
