​Wagga Wagga radio survey released

The NSW city of Wagga Wagga has received the results of the first radio survey to be undertaken in the region since 2001.

93.1 Star FM was the stationed listened to most with 32.4% followed by sister station 2WG with 17.3% and ABC Local Radio 14.3%.

HOT FM dominates in Toowoomba

​Radio ratings for the city of Toowoomba in Queensland’s Darling Downs region, have been released for the first time since 2000.
Commercial radio stations in the market are hit music station Hot FM, classic hits and talk stations 4WK and 4GR, and 80s, 90s and now station 4AK.

Hot FM was the station most listened to with 31.0%. ABC Local radio followed with 14.3% and then 4GR with 9.2%.

Radio ratings for Albany released

Radio ratings for the southern port city of Albany in Western Australia have been released as part of audience research being conducted across regional Australia.
Local stations Hot FM 106.5 and RadioWest Albany were included the survey, which was conducted by Xtra Research.

ABC Local Radio was the station listened to most with 27.1%, followed by Hot FM with 20.6% and triple j 14.1%.

Radio ratings for Coffs Harbour released

Radio survey results for the NSW north coast region of Coffs Harbour were released today for the first time in over a decade, as commercial broadcasters continued their push to improve the competitiveness of regional radio.

Port Macquarie radio ratings released

Radio stations Star FM, 2MC FM and Radio 531 have had their first radio ratings in the Port Macquarie/Kempsey area in more than 10 years.

And the results are in.

2MC is the station most listened to all people 10+ with 28.4%, followed by Star FM with 26.6%.

Triple J scored third place with 10.9%.
The survey, conducted by Xtra Research, is one of 20 regional surveys to be undertaken throughout the year to provide up to date data on regional radio audiences across the country.

Mt Gambier to release first radio ratings in more than a decade

Radio stations 5SE and 96.1 Star FM in Mt Gambier in the southeast region of South Australia are set to be part of the region’s first radio ratings in more than 10 years. 

Dubbo releases first radio ratings in 10 years

Dubbo radio stations 2DU, Zoo FM and 93.5 Star FM have released the region’s first radio ratings in more than 10 years.

2DU was the station listened to most (all people 10+) with 28.6%, followed by Star FM with 25.2% and Zoo FM 3rd with 14.1%.

In breakfast 2DU also placed first with an even 30%, followed by Star FM with 25.1% and Zoo FM and ABC Local Radio equal  third on 12.9%.
