Radio ratings have been released for Mandurah, the second-largest city in Western Australia.
 
97.3 Coast FM and 1116 6MM are the commercial radio stations serving the community, midway between Perth and Bunbury and is one of WA’s fastest growing regional cities.

The first ever radio ratings for the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, covering the commercial radio licence areas of Narrogin, Northam, Katanning and Merridin, has been released.

The Wheatbelt area partially surrounds Perth in the south west of the state, and is known for grain and sheep farming and the famous Wave Rock.

ABC Great Southern WA is the station listened to most with 23.4% followed by Triple M Wheatbelt with 18.9% and HIT Wheatbelt with 17.8% all people 10+.

Regional radio audience measurement surveys (RRAMS) were developed by Xtra Insights, in conjunction with Commercial Radio Australia, in response to the search for a new, cost-efficient research method for regional radio markets to gather up-to-date information.

The first radio ratings survey to be undertaken in the Queensland city of Bundaberg have released today, as part of an initiative to promote regional radio.

Hitz FM 93.9 was the station listened to most with 23.3%, followed by 93.1 Sea FM with 22% and ABC Local Radio 17.4%
