Former ABC broadcaster Bruce Webster has passed away at the age of 92.

Bruce Webster was born on 13 August 1927, the son of Sidney Howard and Helena Shirley Webster.  In 1952 he married his wife Pat and they had three children.

He joined the ABC in 1947 after the second world war as a messenger boy. He moved into an announcing role two years later in 1949.

Bruce Rogerson passed away last weekend. With his funeral on this morning, Ian Holland has paid tribute to a man who was an inspirational leader in the Australian radio industry.

Vice President and presenter at Hawkesbury Radio, Gavin Casburn, passed away on Sunday 3rd February following complications from surgery for a septic ulcer.

His funeral will be held next Monday (details below).

A member of the station for over 30 years, Gavin had also been a long-term member of the management team, with a wide participation as a presenter, Technical Director, and eventually as Treasurer and Vice President.

Voice over artist Paul Ricketts passed away last month in Sydney.
 
Paul was well known as an imaging voice for many stations, including 2CH in the ‘Good Music’ era of the 1970s.
 
He was also the corporate voice for Air New Zealand and more recently Foxtel’s History Channel, and many other outlets.
 
On air he was known as Scott Newman when he was on the “Brighter 2UE” and was represented by RMK Voices.
 
Colleagues have paid tribute to Paul on social media.

Iconic radio programmer and manager Ray Bean has died.

He was admitted to hospital on Saturday night following a suspected stroke and passed away this afternoon.

Ray began his career at 2TM and then moved to 2VM in the same network.

He moved to 2KY and was PD at Funtastic 2UW, then became the first General Manager of 3MP when it launched in 1976.
